You’ve been reading this section to make sure your compost inventory keeps movingideally at a profit for your operation! If material isn’t used quickly enough, there won’t be enough space left on the pad for collections.

One key to understanding what your customers need is to understand the equipment they are using to add it to their soil. 

These are some of the methods for compost application:

Slinger trucks spread large amounts of compost over an area by physically slinging it. 

Front-end loaders can pick up and move large amounts of compost from one area to another.

Large projects that apply many tons of compost may require a blower trucks, which is transported by trucks that blow compost out of a large hose.
